Who is using it?
You will be able to protect your home, your business, your motorhome, the second home, sleeping baby, etc., by receiving images in real time because arlo pro 4 camera can stay on for 3 to 6 months, 24/24 in facilitating your compensation procedures or even repelling intruders.
Pros & Cons
This camera with superior image quality and 12x zoom with 2K HDR video, available individually or as a pack of 3 surveillance cameras in white or black, can be used both indoors and ” outside because it is weather resistant from -20 ° C to + 45 ° C.
Its 160 ° field of vision, color night vision and an integrated LED projector, has the advantage not only of dissuading thanks to its siren that you can activate on the arlo application from your smartphone, but also of easily installing it because it does not require any power cable, otherwise, its built-in rechargeable battery only 3:30.
There have been different ranges but I recommend arlo pro 4 because I tried Arlo Ultra and there is no photo, the ultra has a lot of gaps due to unwanted detections, poor zoom quality and possible viewing only on a 4K compatible device.
Features
- Image resolution: 2560 x 1440 pixels, 4 Mpx sensor for filming in 2K
- Viewing angle: 160 °
- connects directly to the box via WIFI using the Arlo app and a QR Code
- Motion detection: from 9 meters
Compatible with
Zone covered by a WIFI network, you can store videos in the Cloud and take advantage of numerous security accessories by subscribing to the Arlo Smart service which starts at a price of 2.79 euros / month and is compatible with Alexa, Apple Homekit and Google Assistant .
Many will ask the question: if this camera remains configurable without subscription?
Yes, all settings can be made without a base by connecting it to SMART HUB which has a micro SD card and having the recordings available locally as well as in the Cloud. But we lose the advantage of the direct WIFI connection such as detection, real-time images, etc.
Another point for connoisseurs: If the Arlo pro 4 is replacing an Arlo pro 2, the accessories will not be compatible.
Summary
In short, it is the ideal camera for everyone looking to feel safe, whether in an apartment or in the garden. The price is a little on the small budget but the cost is well worth it, depending. When we love we do not count and I add it to my list of gift ideas for these Christmas holidays.

I’m going to tell you about the Panasonic and Sony cameras because in terms of photography, this is the must-have as far as I know. Especially for the mid-budget, Sony remains my favorite brand when it comes to all the devices I’ve bought and plan to buy in the future. But I looked at Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15 while trying it this summer thanks to a friend and I was stunned by its great capabilities. I will therefore make a comparison and will also tell you about the Sony cameras which are the best at the moment.
Who can use it?
When using your smartphone, you’ve probably noticed that there are limitations such as blurry results, brightness, and zooming which only makes the image quality worse.
Image sensors provide better performance indoors and in low light. The shooting is similar because a real digital camera also includes custom controls, which you will get from more expensive digital reflections and mirrorless cameras.
Lightweight and portable in your pocket or jacket, you can take action videos, take a selfie and get spectacular shots.
The characteristics of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15

Sony Cyber-shot RX100 VI in comparison
Sony RX100 VI is worth the extra cost if you want better video, more zoom, and a viewfinder. Its pop-up electronic viewfinder makes it easy to compose photos in sunny weather and outperforms the Panasonic LX15 in crisp 4K video and uncompressed 4K footage live via HDMI, ideal for Vloggers. Finally, the 24-200mm lens of the RX100 VI is much longer than that of the LX15. If you don’t mind ditching a bit of background blur and low-light shooting capability, these telephoto capabilities may make it a better choice for a versatile travel camera.

Sony ZV-1 in comparison
For people who primarily want to capture video, the ZV-1 is my main choice because it has features that make video shooting easy and also capture great stills.
The lens lets in plenty of light and paired with a large sensor, it produces image quality that ranks among the best you can get with a compact camera.
Video enthusiasts should appreciate the hot shoe for adding accessories, the microphone input for better sound and the touchscreen LCD screen, which flips to the side and swivels up and down. However, if you’re primarily shooting photos, you’ll miss out on the pop-up viewfinder and flash that the Sony RX100 VI offers.

In summary
The images and videos from Sony cameras are excellent and almost identical but, in Standard mode, more saturated than the LX15. The sensitivity of the RX100 VI can go beyond the ZV-1, in part thanks to its viewfinder that would be of interest to serious photographers. In the long run, the battery life of the ZV-1 is impressive but for Vloggers, I suggest breaking the bank for an extra battery.
Sony can pair the Imaging Edge Mobile app (iOS and Android) using a QR code, for remote shooting and image transfer, with gaps for daily use.
Google Pixel 6 Pro smartphone
Smartphones are part of our everyday life and can be useful for almost anything. Personally my preference leans for androids and a particular affects for Google.
The comparators are quite detailed but do not specify who, the Pixel, can appeal to.
Who would that interest?
First of all, I would like to point out a fact. Consumers have the unfortunate tendency to focus only on the camera except for calls, texts and social media apps. I too was a pixel fanatic. Always looking for the phone that would take the best photos. But as companies evolved, they quickly realized that they needed all-in-one functionality to face the competition. But now, not everything can be perfect and there are always flaws.
Fear not, because for photography enthusiasts, the Google Pixel 6 Pro is ambitious.
It offers great options and comes with a heavy baggage of facilities for our constantly moving workers. Send emails in all possible languages, without mistakes, take notes, quickly translate a conversation wherever you are.
The Pixel 6 Pro is the perfect travel companion, work tool, and concealer. At the same time light, resistant to water and dust, Google strengthens the race for the flagship by entering the big leagues.
Pros and cons
- Beautiful style with a slightly curved screen, it also has built-in instant translation to 55 languages. No need to download an app and works without a network.
- Smooth and fast thanks to Google Tensor: the first custom-designed processor. Google features are integrated and offer up to 80% speed and responsiveness.
- Faster, more accurate photos in Night Vision mode and capture 150% light. The moving focus, the magic eraser and the background blur in portrait mode are great technological breakthroughs.
- To make sure you don’t forget anything, the “Preview” feature displays your upcoming events, reminders, birthdays and more.
- A faultless: the protection of your data with the latest certified Titan M2 security chip which includes at least 5 years of security update and 3 years of Android update.
In return:
- Scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass leaves a lot of fingerprints.
- There is only one nano SIM card.
- Video quality in portrait mode and in motion is disappointing as it lacks sharpness and stability.
The characteristics of the Google Pixel 6 Pro
- 6.7 inch (170mm) full screen display

In summary
A multilingual phone, good battery life and a very attractive price set a giant leap forward in terms of advancement. The photo functions blew me away and if you want to be economical, the Pixel 6 offers an otherwise similar experience for $ 300 less. Since I’m only presenting the best device options so far, it goes without saying that the Pro 6 is more value for money.

Among its other flaws, the lack of refresh which is 60 Hertz, which is minimal for a phone at this price and the recharge is limited to 20 Watts.

In summary
If your current phone is running too slow or damaged, or if you’re just ready for an upgrade and want a new phone now, we recommend the iPhone 13. It’s a relatively minor upgrade from iPhone 12 of 2020, but the improved cameras and better battery life rely on an already excellent design and fast processing, with no other downsides other than a few grams of extra weight. If you prefer a smaller screen, the iPhone 13 mini is also a great choice, as it offers all of the same features in an easier-to-hold package for $ 100 less.
